This is a versatile device characterization facility for the study of broadband photonic devices used for optical amplification, switching, and signal processing. It consists of dynamically reconfigurable multi-wavelength laser source banks, a high rep-rate ultrafast tunable laser source (Pritel UOC series actively mode-locked fiber laser), components for optical amplification system, high-bandwidth time- and frequency-domain measurement system and precision optical alignment equipment.
